Located in the very centre of Le Tampon, the “Les Palissandres” residence has 30 social homes on a 2,100 m² site. It consists of two four-storey buildings with attic floors above a level of underground parking. The two buildings are linked by open walkways and served by a staircase and a lift. The apartments are dual-aspect and on a single level, allowing the natural ventilation that is essential in Réunion. Private gardens and a landscaped patio complete the residence.

The overall massing was meant to be very clear and simple, while keeping a traditional form so that the buildings fit into the neighbourhood.
