34 very low-rent social homes in terraced houses
This project is the construction of 34 very low-rent social homes at Carosse, in the hills above Saint-Joseph. These traditionally shaped town houses respect the way of life of the Kaz à tèr, with a garden and a back yard (kour). They are arranged in six small groups, served by different lanes and set among private gardens and green spaces that preserve each home’s privacy. Each house has its own parking space. The homes are dual-aspect to make the most of natural ventilation, and all are fitted with a solar water heater.
