Denis Pothin Gymnasium

A simple volume oriented towards the sea, the new gymnasium adapts to its surroundings and meets the needs of its users more effectively. The main façade on the street marks the entrance and the purpose of the building with a perforated screen and a forecourt.

The building has two levels. The ground floor holds the main playing area, used for several different sports. Raising the stands and the toilets frees storage space underneath and gives spectators a clear view of the games.

The spaces were designed for good thermal and acoustic comfort.

The building combines functionality and modernity
